To the World of Wonder

If one were to live in a world without logic, Would the emotions overflow? And if one were to exist in a world without emotions, Would the problems then go?

The life I've led I've tried to think Of why one would seek a word called feelings. Yet I still don't quite understand, If the life they led was wholly right.

If logic was a gleaming blade, Slicing through our blood and flesh, It would take the blurry swirling things And make them right again.

And if emotions were the roaring sea, Blinding your sight and choking your speech It would pull you towards a bramble path With thorns that scratch and make you bleed.

Maybe one day I'll understand, But maybe I'll never know. What I do know right now though, Is that the world should dance to logic's flow.
