Feb the 14th

Winter had never been so bleak with Icy darkness obscuring my vision. Lacking in support, and Laughing at my soul's demise.

Yet~ One day, Under the cloying darkness.

Blinding light shone through the water, Ever so blue in color.

Marking the lifeline thrown onto the waves, Yearning for my grasp.

Violent turbulence shook my soul. Although at times it seemed, Like life was a curse. Ever so gently you Nudged me towards a path That showed me my worthiness In this lonely world inside my mind. Never helping me, but Ever so steady by my side.
