Farewell

Sometime along the way One second I was fine The next I realized too late Struck by an unknown spear. The winds already flew To the clouds up high Streams passed on by As I jostled around my mind. A sinking hole within My intestines gutted out Bleeding flesh rotting away Yet my blood continued on.

Small moments in sunlight Early morning delight A porch in hot rays Freezing winter panes, Steamed buns freshly done Cold noodles growing clumped, Sweetly melting crunchy pork Salty eggplant tossed in yolk, Freshly squeezed milk at dawn Freezing ice pops finally won, Brittle glass turning panes Rattle of tiles being played.

You grow near yet drift far You're here but disappear I grasp onto your shadow But it slips away like rain As you walk towards me I sense my growing anxiety Eating at my remains Watching you across the sea. Red journals, aprons, glasses, Music box, monkey, chess pieces, Dandelions, tea bottles, willow grass, Gold staff, poems, Yellowstone's steam.

Now I wonder how long Before the dam crashes How can it stop the tide The hurricane that bellows. Crippling fear from unknowns Changes my darkening eyes. I must take advantage of my time Spent preciously without waste To fully appreciate my life For what you gave to me. The frog jumped out the well To return to her home in farewell. 再见

第三段 (Third Stanza) 近在眼前又远去 见你身影又消失 牵握你手如雨落 滑过指间无处寻 当你带笑走向来 忧虑之心紧紧绷 蚕食残躯不留情 隔海遥望你阴影 红本围裙折叠镜 音盒猴玩象棋子 香茶柳枝蒲公英 金箍棒诗黄石泉

第四段 (Fourth Stanza) 不知何时堤坝崩 洪水奔腾无阻挡 何以抵挡汹涌潮 狂啸飓风扑面来 未知恐惧心中生 明亮双眼渐变黑 时光须珍贵如金 寸光不可费而过 宝贵现在不荒芜 感恩此生您所赋 井底之蛙跃出口 不知何日再相见
