What I Believe

by Ameanie

I believe in loyalty and logic. I believe in a fresh blank piece of paper, and the satisfaction of a pen tip pressing against it. I believe that trust is mutual, I believe that loyalty is deserved by those with morality. I believe in the words of the wise philosophers, I believe in the temple of prayers for the stars, where fate and luck are decided. I believe in the harmony of century long rivals, I believe in logical violence and the right to decide when to fight one's battles. I believe in my volatile emotionless sensitive self. I believe in the existence of my life and the million worlds trapped in the pages of my books. I believe in the rights of the people and the protests brought with it. I believe in light and darkness. I believe in sunshine and ice cream on a hot day, hardships and toil, the inexistence of right and wrong… I believe in holding important matters close. I believe in a day where there will be nothing obscuring my vision towards a clear future.
