45: Fireplace Glow

They ask me why,
They don't say,
But it's there.
They don't say,
But it's there.
I ponder their gaze
as a screen flashes blue
Alone I recline.
as a screen flashes blue
Alone I recline.
At home the thankful
Reveals to be thankless
Pointed glares shot
And inky water spilled
Dousing the fireplace glow.
Reveals to be thankless
Pointed glares shot
And inky water spilled
Dousing the fireplace glow.
